Korean alphabet Hangeul 한 글 only 24 turned out simple alphabet (actually more but unused) consists of 14 basic consonants and 10 basic vowels. Consonant and vowel is organized into syllables in blocks. 한 글 Hangeul was created in the mid 15th century (approximately 1440).

Jamo
Jamo (자모) are units that form the alphabet Hangeul 한 글. Ja means letter or character, and mo means mother. In other words JAMO as forming the Hangeul writing. Each letter has its own name and the sound (such as letters hijaiyah).
